Rev. Randy Johnson was born in Buffalo, NY. He grew up in a Christian home. He has a 2 Business degrees from Hilbert College and the State University of NY at Fredonia. At 23 he met his wife, Coral, and married her in 1984. They have three children, Brandon, 20, Eric, 17, and Rebecca, 11.
Early in his marriage, Randy founded, and taught at, a Christian school in Hamburg NY. Then worked as a computer consultant before becoming the Systems Manager for the Federal Courts in Buffalo and Rochester, NY for 10 years. During all these full time jobs, Randy also worked in youth ministry for over 20 years, serving as a Youth Pastor for many of those years.
In 2002, he and Coral answered the call to become missionaries and served with their children for almost 2 years in Bosnia Herzegovina. They still feel called to the mission field, but God has instructed them to stay on base with Elim Publishing until it is well established; until it can easily be coached from the sidelines overseas.
